Abstract

Higher education has become increasingly reliant on digital technologies for adaptation and transformation of educational systems and quality assurance processes. Institutions are required to implement digital technologies throughout their institutions due to demands for transparency, accountability, and measurable outcomes. This study will examine and evaluate the importance of digital transformation for enhancing quality assurance systems and outcome-based academic success in higher education. The study will examine and evaluate the importance and impact of digital transformation in evaluating and assessing academic quality and standards in higher education institutions. This study utilized a quantitative research method, and data were collected from 200 participants (faculty and academic administrators) from multiple higher education institutions using a structured questionnaire to measure digital transformation, the use of technology, quality assurance, and outcome-based education. Data was analyzed using descriptive, correlational, and regression analysis to determine the relationship between the data. From the research, it is evident that there is a significant positive relationship between digital transformation, technology integration, and quality assurance, which directly contributes to outcome-based academic excellence. From the research, it is also evident that academic institutions with quality assurance systems based on technology are in a better position to enhance the monitoring and efficacy of outcome-based learning, teaching, and academic excellence. Therefore, it is evident from the research that the integration of digital technologies in quality assurance is crucial in promoting academic excellence and academic standards in higher education institutions.
