Abstract

The development of digital technology has a significant impact on the lives of preschool children, especially regarding mental health. The proliferation of devices, social platforms, and the transformation of ways of interacting bring new challenges that educators must face. This study aims to analyze the role of teachers as supporters in maintaining and improving the mental health of preschool children in the digital era. The approach used is a qualitative method by conducting a literature review of various relevant sources over the past five years. The research findings reveal that teachers not only act as conveyors of information, but also as observers, emotional supporters, and liaisons between students, parents, and the educational environment. Effective strategies involve implementing learning that emphasizes social and emotional aspects, managing a safe and supportive learning environment, and close collaboration with parents to reduce the risk of mental disorders due to excessive use of technology. This study recommends improving teacher skills through training in digital literacy, child development psychology, and stress management for early childhood. With the right role, educators can be at the forefront in shaping a generation that is mentally healthy, adaptive, and resilient in facing the challenges of the digital era.
