- Abstract
This study aims to analyze the patterns and ways of learning the transformation of indigenous knowledge and its implications in shaping community food security behavior as one way to increase food security to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) 2.This research using a qualitative design with ethnographic method which intends to describe, analyze, and provide data interpretation related to aspects of a cultural entity community, such as forms of attitudes, behavior, appreciation of teachings, and language culture systems as a form of intergenerational community cultural development. The results of the study, it was found that the process of transforming the indigenous knowledge of the Community is found in the family and also the community from generation to generation, namely the emphasis on exemplary and habituation in every child in the family. These findings can be recommendations in developing the content of learning programs that can be applied to community education unit institutions in the context of creating regional food alert areas by the SDG 2 target. This study contributes to the literature by indigenous knowledge needs to be supported by various innovation diffusions through strengthening technology and institutions to be more constructive and in line with achieving food security development goals.
