Abstract

This study aims to describe the utilization of virtual tour media in Social Studies (IPS) learning at the elementary school level as a means of introducing Nusantara culture. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with fifth-grade teachers and students of SD Negeri Tamansari 1 as the participants. Data were collected through interviews and observations. The results indicate that the use of virtual tour platforms (Google Arts & Culture and cultural museum websites) enhanced students’ enthusiasm, participation, and understanding of cultural content. The main challenges encountered were the limited availability of devices and unstable internet connections. These findings emphasize that virtual tour media is feasible for sustainable use in creating interactive, visual, and meaningful learning experiences.
