Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of interactive game-based Social Studies (IPS) learning media Wordwall on the topic of ethnic and religious diversity in Indonesia for grade IV elementary school students. The research method uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection involves observation, student and teacher questionnaires, and achievement tests. The validation results show that the media developed is included in the “Very Feasible” category based on the assessment of material and media experts. Implementation on students shows that this media is effective in improving learning outcomes and forming an attitude of tolerance. The students’ performance increased substantially, with mean scores improving by 22.5 points—from 63.75 on the pretest to 86.25 on the posttest. These findings strengthen that interactive game-based media such as Wordwall can be an effective alternative in more meaningful and contextual IPS learning.
