Abstract

This study investigates how Sustainable Production (SP) acts as a mediator between Green Logistics Management (GLM), Green Human Capital (GHC), and Circular Economy Practices (CEP) in the manufacturing sector. Using quantitative research design, primary data collected from 211 managers and executives of manufacturing firms of Pune, India by using PLS – SEM technique. GLM and GHC substantially impact SP and CEP, with SP serving as a mediating factor, allowing GLM and GHC to influence CEP, highly emphasizing the role of SP in achieving CE outcomes. Firms that adopt efficient green logistics systems and develop environmentally skilled human capital will achieve a better sustainability performance. Further, they will be in an improved position to implement the circular economy. The model was highly reliable and had discriminant validity and moderate prediction strength. Green management strategies that focus on sustainable production can make better use of resources, minimize waste and help in the transformation of manufacturing industries to a CE.
