Abstract

With the rapid development of the internet, an increasing number of people tend to communicate and share views online. Among contemporary netizens, young people are the most active; they are well-educated, progressive, and creative, which has led to the creation of the interesting and trendy “meme culture.” This paper will explore the transmission process of memes within this culture and discuss the impacts that meme culture may have.
