- Abstract
To investigate the mechanism of new quality productivity on high-quality economic development and the dynamic impacts of marketization level and informatization level, this paper builds the mediating effect model and the moderated mediating effect model using panel data from 30 Chinese provinces from 2010 to 2022. The following are the findings of the study: (1) High-quality economic development is significantly boosted by new quality productivity, and the degree of informatization has a partly mediating function in this process, contributing roughly 13% of the total. (2) In addition to directly fostering economic growth, the marketization level also creates a “crowding-out effect” by stifling the synergistic effect of new quality productivity on the level of information and high-quality economic development. In addition to offering specific policy recommendations and a theoretical and empirical foundation for regionally coordinated development and policy formulation, this study explains the intricate mechanism of new quality productivity fostering high-quality economic development.
