Abstract

Tourism is one effective instrument to safeguard environmental, cultural exchanges as well as economic development. It generates employment, boosts the national economy, advances cultural understanding, and backs environmental programs. Still, tourism has some drawbacks. This research attempts to investigate ways to control hazards and threats as well as the benefits and drawbacks of tourism by means of an overview of present knowledge. The article also examines policies in several examples like Bali-Indonesia, Maldives and Japan, by implementing literature review. The findings show that although tourism continues to be a major economic factor, excessive tourism can also cause social and economic inequalities that extremists take advantage of for recruitment and radicalization. To solve this problem, a whole strategy, including prior security measures, community and stable travel policies, is needed. The key strategy to keep travel as a useful tool is sustainable tourism. This offers a sensible approach to ensure a dependable long-term road while preserving equilibrium of environmental, financial, and cultural aspects. Sustainable tourism can pave the road to a more ethical and successful global travel sector, thereby benefiting people in the present and preserving the places for next generations thanks to the growing awareness and commitment. With continuous investments in security and conscientious travel policies, the destination can reduce the impact of crime and maximize the financial advantage of tourism. Responsible tourism helps destination to keep its attractiveness while ensuring safety and social peace for people who live there as well as visitors.
