Abstract

The leaps in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in recent years have been unparalleled, spawning world-class collaborative platforms to align civic strategies, illuminate near-term realities, and steward sustainable, long-term urban outcomes. These features integrate AI governance, ethical use of AI, and generative intelligence and performance work for smart city platforms. Therefore, a base where evidence-based policy making and decision making with Large Language Models (LLMs) is also informed through such integrations of AI-IoTs. Generative AI encourages democratic civic engagement — citizens in charge of their cities. Beyond this, an adoption of AI-oriented metaverse solutions with sustainable AI architectures can also help push many of these modernization efforts forward. Green Urban Systems and AI: This study explores the applications of AI managing problems on governance, sustainability, urban mobility, and infrastructure enhancement. AIs technology can reshape the way cities engage in work believed to have transformed them into responsive, adaptive and proactive organizations. It emphasizes on the fact that AI can facilitate in metamorphosizing urban spaces into smart spaces, effective and human-centric spaces.
