- Abstract
This study aims to analyse the role of ImersifA technology in shaping destination image and its influence on visitor satisfaction as an effort to support sustainable tourism in museums. The study examines the dimensions of cognitive and affective destination image within the ImersifA attraction at the National Museum of Indonesia. The method used is a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 92 respondents. The data were analysed using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 29. The results indicate that cognitive destination image has a positive and significant influence on visitor satisfaction, while affective destination image does not have a significant influence on visitor satisfaction. Cognitive image is reflected in aspects such as facilities, accessibility, and the quality of immersive technology, whereas affective image is associated with visitors’ emotional responses and feelings during the experience. These findings demonstrate that the functional and experiential aspects of ImersifA technology play a more important role in enhancing visitor satisfaction and supporting the sustainable development of museum destinations.
