Welcome to the Proceedings of the 8th International Conference of Vocational Education, Applied Science and Technology (ICVEAST 2026). ICVEAST 2026 adopted the theme “Technology-Enabled Sustainability: Advancing Green Skills in Applied Sciences.” The theme recognizes that technological progress must be aligned with environmental responsibility and the development of sustainability-focused competencies. In response to climate change, resource limitations, and evolving industry needs, vocational education and applied sciences have an important role in preparing skilled professionals and producing solutions that support sustainable development. The conference provided a platform for researchers, educators, practitioners, policy-makers, industry representatives, and students to share ideas, present research outcomes, and establish interdisciplinary partnerships. Its discussions explored the use of technology to encourage green innovation, improve workforce preparedness, and create practical responses to environmental, economic, and societal challenges.
