- Abstract
The purpose of this research is to explore the link between burnout and work–life balance in female staff members at Universitas Prima Indonesia. Work–life balance refers to one’s ability to manage time between professional tasks, home life, personal needs, and social obligations. Burnout is characterized as a condition of physical, psychological, and emotional fatigue that arises from experiencing long-term or continuous stress. A quantitative method was applied using data collected from 109 female employees through burnout and work life balance scales, both of which had passed validity and reliability tests. Data analysis using Pearson correlation resulted in an r value of minus 0.303 with a significance level of 0.001, the results show a notably negative relationship between the two variables. The determination coefficient R square of 0.092 shows that work life balance contributes 9.2 percent to burnout among female employees at Universitas Prima Indonesia, while the remaining 90.8 percent is influenced by other factors.
