Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are two transformative technologies that have revolutionized various domains, including healthcare, education, industry, and smart cities. The convergence of these technologies has given rise to Augmented Intelligence Reality, where AI systems enhance human capabilities through AR interfaces. This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) explores the integration of AR and AI, focusing on applications, challenges, and future directions. A total of 30 peer-reviewed articles published between 2018 and 2023 were analyzed. The findings highlight the potential of Augmented Intelligence Reality in improving decision-making, personalizing user experiences, and solving complex problems. However, technical, ethical, and user-related challenges remain, including specific issues such as latency in real-time AR processing and data privacy concerns in AI-driven systems. This SLR provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of research and identifies key areas for future exploration.
