Website: https://www.eugreen.ovgu.de/groufes2026_magdeburg.html The International Conference on Research, Innovation, Sustainability & Education 2026 (iRiseCon 2026) was successfully held on 18–19 April 2026 at Politeknik Seberang Perai (PSP), Pulau Pinang, Malaysia, under the theme “Inspiring Innovation, Connecting Continents.” The conference was organised through a strategic international collaboration led by Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), Banda Aceh, Indonesia, in partnership with Politeknik Seberang Perai (PSP), Politeknik Balik Pulau (PBU), Universitas Muhammadiyah (UNMUHA), Politeknik Negeri Lhokseumawe (PNL), Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Iskandar Thani (STTIT), and Karamanoglu Mehmetbey University, Türkiye. This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of participating institutions to strengthening global partnerships and advancing excellence in research, innovation, sustainability, and education. The primary objective of iRiseCon 2026 was to provide an international platform for researchers, academicians, professionals, industry practitioners, and students to disseminate research findings, exchange knowledge, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and establish meaningful academic and industrial partnerships. The conference also supports the aspirations of the Malaysia Higher Education Strategic Plan and the internationalisation agenda of the Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education (JPPKK), Malaysia, which aims to strengthen research culture, innovation, and scholarly publication at the international level. The conference covered a broad spectrum of research disciplines, including engineering and technology, technical and vocational education and training (TVET), applied sciences, information and communication technology, artificial intelligence, sustainability, business and management, social sciences, and other multidisciplinary fields. By bringing together researchers from diverse backgrounds, iRiseCon 2026 fostered interdisciplinary dialogue and encouraged innovative solutions to contemporary global challenges while promoting impactful collaborations between academia, industry, and government agencies. iRiseCon 2026 attracted participants from Malaysia, Indonesia, Iraq, Türkiye, Brunei Darussalam, and the Philippines, demonstrating its growing international recognition as a reputable platform for scholarly exchange. A total of 396 abstracts were received from researchers representing various higher education institutions, research organisations, and industries. Following a rigorous peer-review process, 273 full papers were accepted for presentation at the conference and selected for publication in these proceedings. The strong response received reflects the increasing confidence of the international research community in iRiseCon as a high-quality conference that promotes academic excellence and impactful research. Maintaining high academic standards has always been a fundamental principle of iRiseCon. To ensure the quality and integrity of the published proceedings, all submitted manuscripts underwent a comprehensive peer-review process conducted by 108 reviewers from various universities, polytechnics, and research institutions across several countries. Each manuscript was carefully evaluated based on its originality, technical quality, scientific contribution, relevance to the conference themes, and overall significance. The active involvement of international reviewers has strengthened the transparency, credibility, and academic quality of the review process while ensuring that the published papers meet internationally recognised scholarly standards. The success of iRiseCon 2026 would not have been possible without the dedication and commitment of many individuals and institutions. The Organising Committee extends its sincere appreciation to all keynote speakers, invited speakers, authors, reviewers, session chairs, committee members, collaborating institutions, sponsors, volunteers, and participants for their invaluable contributions and continuous support. Their professionalism, expertise, and collaborative spirit have played a vital role in making this conference a successful international academic event.
