- Abstract
Due to the inherently double-edged nature of digital technology, it plays a dual role as both a facilitator and an inhibitor in university teaching. Centered around the Internet, digital technologies possess characteristics such as transcending time and space, promoting openness and sharing, and enabling equal interaction, thereby offering valuable opportunities and convenient conditions for the development of higher education. However, the fragmented, open, and virtual nature of the online ecosystem also presents challenges for universities, including the de-systematization, de-centralization, and de-individualization of the teaching process. To ensure the effective integration of digital technology in university teaching, it is necessary to enhance the precision of technological application, improve the qualifications of stakeholders, and refine process mechanisms. In doing so, the inhibitory effects of digital technology can be transformed into driving forces, enabling a more effective and organic integration between digital technology and university education.
