- Abstract
The new-quality productivity proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping has opened up a new path for the innovation of education and teaching models, and also provided a new grasp for the high-quality development of higher education. Drawing on the connotation of new-quality productivity, this study analyzes the developmental context of the concept of teachers’ teaching competence, proposes the concept of teachers’ new-quality teaching competence, defines its connotation, analyzes its essential characteristics, and clarifies that teachers’ new-quality teaching competence serves as the core engine for the innovation of education and teaching models, providing theoretical support and methodological reference for the high-quality development of higher education.
