Abstract

In the era of high-quality development of vocational education, the construction of a scientific and efficient teaching quality monitoring and assurance system is the core of the internal development of higher vocational colleges. This paper takes Yangzhou Institute of Industrial Technology (hereinafter referred to as “Yangzhou Institute”) as the research object, thoroughly analyzes the practical challenges faced by its teaching quality assurance system, and creatively integrates the TQC (Total Quality Management) philosophy with the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle method to establish a new teaching quality assurance mechanism characterized by “goal-driven, full participation, process monitoring, data-driven, and continuous improvement.” It provides a detailed account of the specific implementation pathways and innovative measures of this mechanism in key areas such as target system construction, quality culture cultivation, process refinement management, multi-dimensional evaluation feedback, and closed-loop improvement. Practice has demonstrated that this mechanism significantly enhances the standardization and efficiency of teaching management, the quality-oriented awareness of faculty and students, the response speed to teaching issues, and the social relevance of talent cultivation, providing a referenceable model for optimizing teaching quality assurance systems in similar higher vocational colleges.
