Abstract

Personal social guidance and counseling program can be an alternative tool to foster social entrepreneurship in junior high school students. The programs are carried out to map students’ personal social problems that can strengthen students’ personal and social character. Junior high school students as the Z generation were chosen because they will be Indonesia’s demographic bonus. The development of students’ thinking stages starting from concrete to abstract thinking patterns has the potential to be filled with fostering social entrepreneurship characters. In addition, post-pandemic student activities and habits need to be rearranged with positive activities. This study aims to analyze the relevant theoretical studies about the relationship between social entrepreneurship and social personal guidance and counseling program. Based on the literature study that has been conducted, it was revealed that guidance and counseling program can be applied to the activities of junior high school students that is in line with the development of the times through mapping and targeted and programmed guidance. The program is carried out by looking at the potential possessed by students, then categorized into stages of social entrepreneurship. Counselors can provide assistance according to the characteristics possessed by the students. The social entrepreneurship framework that is developed consists of social values, community environment, innovation and economic activities in an effort to make social change. This program has the potential to optimally develop the social entrepreneurship of students to become agents of social change and provisions to fill Indonesia’s demographic bonus in 2045.
