Abstract

Wooden house building is one of the instant alternatives, with its speedy installation, attractive design, and environmental friendliness. The development of wooden house building designs has an increasingly diverse design, so it requires design application technology in making design designs that can display 3D modeling images, make working drawings as a production guide, calculate material requirements or bill of materials, and make assembly simulations. Utilization of the Autodesk Inventor application is very suitable for making the design process so that it can make design drawings faster and more precise and facilitate the image revision process. The purpose of this research is to make the design work easier and faster and be able to be integrated with the production process by using the Autodesk Inventor application that can be read on a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine. The research method used is qualitative, using the Autodesk Inventor software application so that it can describe the design process that is integrated with the production process. The results of this study are in the form of a work process on how to design a wooden house building design and a reference image of a wooden house building design equipped with working drawings, bill of materials, and assembly simulations using the Autodesk Inventor application. This is very useful for architects, designers, and industry players in building wooden houses so that they can make the design and production process faster, more efficient, and accurate and minimize production failures using Autodesk Inventor.
