- Abstract
This paper focuses on the role of the long-term task-driven mode in improving college students’ Self-directed Learning ability. It first expounds the connotation of Self-directed Learning and common training modes, with emphasis on the long-term task-driven mode with a cycle of 2-3 years, including the positioning of teachers’ roles and key links such as precise task design, building a support framework, timely guidance in the process, scientific organization of result evaluation, summary and migration guidance. The effectiveness of this mode is verified through a practical case of detecting trace moisture in marine diesel engine oil, combined with a comparison of data on students’ average course scores and academic competition awards. The results show that the long-term task-driven mode can significantly improve students’ Self-directed Learning ability, providing a useful reference for cultivating college students’ Self-directed Learning ability.
