Abstract

Grassroots discipline inspection and supervision cadres are an important force in the construction of Party conduct and clean government as well as the anti-corruption campaign. However, in practical work, there are certain problems in their incentive mechanism, which affect their work enthusiasm and efficiency. By analyzing the problems in the incentive mechanism for the construction of grassroots discipline inspection and supervision teams, this paper finds that the main issues include the structural imbalance of the incentive mechanism, the disconnection between capacity improvement and practical needs, and the lag of the working environment and guarantee mechanism. In response to these problems, this paper puts forward countermeasures to optimize the incentive mechanism: establishing a full-chain incentive mechanism covering “selection, cultivation, management and employment”, improving the differentiated assessment and career development system, and creating a professional ecological environment featuring “strict management and sincere care”. The research shows that improving the incentive mechanism helps enhance the work enthusiasm and professional capabilities of grassroots discipline inspection and supervision cadres, and promotes the in-depth development of the construction of Party conduct and clean government and the anti-corruption campaign.
