Abstract

From the perspective of “state presence”, this article explores how red culture (RC) can be integrated into the practical work of ideological and political education (IPE) for college students. Through the research of red theory and literature, this paper expounds the connotation and manifestation of RC, and deeply discusses the significant meaning of the integration of RC and IPE. Meanwhile, this paper provides three specific approaches, namely, citing red cultural resources, promoting red cultural resources, and practicing the spirit of RC, to integrate RC into the IPE of college students. The research results show that the integration of RC can help cultivate college students’ ideals and beliefs, foster patriotic feelings, and shape moral character. This study has important practical significance for IPE workers in colleges and universities, and it is hoped that it can attract more scholars’ attention and provide references for related research in other fields.
