Abstract

At present, there are few studies on the cost difference between prefabricated buildings and traditional cast-in-place buildings. In this paper, firstly, from the perspective of general contractor, combined with the four phases of design, production, transportation, installation and construction in EPC mode, 25 specific influencing factors in five dimensions of design, production, transportation, installation and construction and others are identified by using literature analysis method and expert interview method. Secondly, on the basis of the list of cost influencing factors of assembled buildings, a questionnaire survey on “cost influencing factors of assembled buildings under EPC mode” was conducted to put forward research hypotheses and construct a structural equation model of the influencing factors of assembled buildings, to verify the positive influence of influencing factors on costs through the study of path coefficients, and calculate the weights of influencing factors’ degree of influence. The weights of the influencing factors are calculated. It is found that the influence degree of the assembly building cost influencing factors on the cost, in descending order, is as follows: design factors, other factors, installation and construction factors, transportation factors, and production factors.
