- Abstract
Society’s dependence on digital media is now unavoidable, from urban communities to adults, from toddlers to the elderly. Through mobile phones, various digital applications can be accessed, provided there is an internet connection. The problem with digital addiction is the negative impact it poses, ranging from hoaxes, online gambling, and fraud to physical health issues and behavioral changes. The purpose of this article is to outline the extent of society’s addiction to digital media and what solutions exist for digital resilience, while the writing method employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach updated to current standards. Several strategies need to be implemented in digital resilience to mitigate the effects of digital addiction, as it is crucial to avoid the negative impacts of digitalization, such as hoaxes, online gambling, fraud, and other harmful activities. Digital resilience is essential when using media, enabling us to detect suspicious activities when interacting on social media.
