Abstract

This report provides an in-depth analysis of the various risks faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) when hiring employees with disabilities, covering multiple dimensions such as financial risk, strategic risk, and operational risk. Through detailed case studies and theoretical explanations, it reveals the potential impact of these risks on business development and proposes corresponding risk mitigation measures. In the risk assessment section, using a fictional Company A as an example, the likelihood and impact of various risks are quantified, and the residual risk level is assessed based on existing internal control measures. Finally, a comprehensive risk mitigation (corrective action) plan is developed, outlining response strategies for each risk event, new control effectiveness ratings, residual risk ratings, risk owners, subcommittees, target completion timelines, and reporting frequencies. This aims to help Company A ensure compliance while achieving long-term sustainable development. This study provides a comprehensive risk management guide for SMEs when hiring employees with disabilities, helping companies promote social inclusion while ensuring their own stable operations and sustainable development.
