- Abstract
This study investigates how digital innovations influence Zakah compliance strategies, with a focus on the roles played by mobile payment applications and social media platforms as mediators. Employing a quantitative approach and Smart PLS analysis, the research explores the connections between awareness campaigns, transparent reporting mechanisms, community engagement programs, and Zakah compliance within Baznas Kota Padang. The findings indicate that while awareness campaigns have a minimal indirect impact on compliance through mobile payment tools, transparent reporting significantly boosts compliance by fostering trust via these digital platforms. Additionally, community engagement initiatives integrated with social media show the strongest effect, underscoring the value of community-based efforts in promoting Zakah adherence. The results highlight the need for Zakah institutions to adopt transparent and technology-focused strategies, utilizing both mobile apps and social media to enhance compliance and build a sustainable framework for future Zakah management.
