- Abstract
This study aims to find out and analyze 1) The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Student Engagement 2) The Effect of Learning Independence on Student Engagement 3) The influence of emotional intelligence on economic learning outcomes 4) The influence of Learning Independence on economic learning outcomes 5) The influence of Student Engagement on economic learning outcomes. The sampling technique used in the study was proportional random sampling, with a total sample of 103 students. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis, analysis prerequisite test, path analysis, t-test, and determination coefficient. Where the analysis uses SPSS with an alpha of 0.05. The results showed that 1) Emotional Intelligence has an effect and is significant on student engagement 2) Learning Independence has an effect that is significant on student engagement 3) Emotional Intelligence has no effect on student learning outcomes. 4) Learning Independence has no effect on student learning outcomes 5) Student engagement has no effect on students learning outcomes.
