- Abstract
This study presents a novel approach by integrating the DEMATEL-ANP method and SEM to tackle sustainability challenges in the tourism industry. Unlike the common practice of using them separately in existing literature, this combination offers a more comprehensive analysis. The DEMATEL-ANP framework helps analyze the interdependencies among economic development, environmental impact, policy implementation, and tourist experience. SEM verifies the feedback loops and causal relationships among economic growth, carbon emissions, and policy effectiveness. Using Juneau as a case study, we show how to manage digital infrastructure sustainability. Validated by the case of Shanghai, the findings emphasize balancing economic growth, environmental protection, and social equity, providing practical guidance for engineering managers and IT professionals.
