Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a transformative technology that contributes to the sustainable development of Human Resource Management. This study explores the integration of AI into Sustainable Human Resource Management and its role in achieving organizational goals while promoting inclusivity, efficiency, and environmental accountability. AI facilitates the automation of tasks, improves recruitment processes, customizes training programs, and enhances employee well-being. But still challenges like data bias, ethical accountability, and financial barriers for Small and Medium Enterprises remain critical. The purpose of the study is to know the contribution of AI, ethical standards related to challenges, and employee perspective on AI adoption. The research emphasizes the need for transparent and ethical improvement of AI, building employee trust, and phased adoption strategies to address financial and scalability issues. Key findings emphasize balancing automation with human input to tackle ethical dilemmas and encourage equitable practices. Recommendations include strengthening regulatory frameworks, investing in AI skill enhancement, and promoting collaboration among various stakeholders. Future research should examine AI’s role in mental health, algorithmic fairness, and comparative studies across regions and industries. AI holds the promise of transforming SHRM into sustainable, ethical, and innovative ecosystems.
