Abstract

In a dynamic world, integrating agriculture with artificial intelligence (AI) can address major issues like population growth, food security, and climate change while promoting sustainability and innovation. Using the information acquired from the field, farmers who include AI in their farming operations can make wiser, more informed decisions. This provides opportunity for enhancing current conventional farming practices thanks to this enhanced capacity for decision-making. Artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms combined with contemporary techniques such as imaging, machine learning, and remote sensing can help farmers increase agricultural output, reduce resource consumption, lower crop loss risk, and improve sustainability. The current research paper aims to illustrate the areas in which artificial intelligence can be implemented in agriculture. Digital literacy and inadequate ICT infrastructure are the two main obstacles in successfully implementing AI. To address the increasing demand for AI in agriculture, governments should support new start-ups in the field of AI and upgrade their capacity to train farmers.
