- Abstract
This paper delves deep into the diverse world of Miao ethnic dress patterns, focusing on interpreting the female symbols hidden within them and exploring their connection with cultural memory. The Miao ethnic group has a long - standing history and a unique culture, and they use dress patterns as a form of non - verbal communication. Through an in - depth analysis of various dress patterns, this research is committed to revealing the symbolic meanings related to female roles, identities, and values in Miao society. By exploring the cultural memory retained in these patterns, it can not only enrich our understanding of Miao culture but also provide profound insights into the importance of cultural heritage protection in the process of modernization.
