This paper deeply explores the intricate relationship between digital narrative and social change, with a particular focus on the expressive efficacy of visual design within the realm of public issues. In the current digital age, visual design has become a crucial means of constructing and disseminating digital narratives closely related to various public concerns. Through the analysis of different case studies, this research examines how visual design elements such as color, layout, and imagery are utilized to shape the narrative content, evoke emotional resonance, and promote public participation, ultimately contributing to the realization of social change. This paper also discusses the challenges and opportunities that visual design encounters in the context of digital narratives for public issues, providing insights for subsequent research and practice in this field.
