Abstract

After-school services are a product of the “Double Reduction” policy, and the development of after-school service courses is an inevitable trend in the in-depth advancement and development of the “Double Reduction” policy. However, due to the diverse forms, types, and interdisciplinary and integrated characteristics of the after-school service period courses, how to promote after-school service courses and organically integrate them with other courses has always been a challenging issue for academic discussion. The “interdisciplinary thematic” courses proposed in the 2022 “Compulsory Education Curriculum Plan and Curriculum Standards” provide new ideas for the promotion of after-school service courses. Based on the perspective of the ecosystem, following the characteristics of the construction of interdisciplinary thematic courses, taking the “Three Talks of Farming” course of L Rural Primary School as an example, this paper discusses issues such as the selection of themes, determination of objectives, and content selection in the development of interdisciplinary thematic courses, and at the same time elaborates on how to practice interdisciplinary thematic courses from aspects such as clarifying course objectives, group cooperation, learning support, and evaluation improvement.
