- Abstract
This study introduces a new type of prefabricated steel-reinforced concrete composite (SRCCT) shear wall. The SRCCT shear wall consists of steel composite tubes, concrete inside and outside the tubes, and stud-tie bars. To investigate the seismic performance of the SRCCT shear wall and the working mechanism between steel and concrete, low-cycle repeated load tests were conducted on two full-scale specimens. The results show that the SRCCT shear wall has good load-bearing capacity and deformation ability, achieving a ductile failure mode. Increasing the axial compression ratio enhances the load-bearing capacity of the specimen.
