Abstract

Waqf has made contributions in various fields for the community. Contribution waqf moment. This is not only limited to matters of land, cemetery, or development means of worship, but also deep field education, health, and welfare. The problem is the moment. There are still treasure objects that have been donated and not managed well, or managed poorly in accordance with their intended use, even though these actions can result in consequences under the law in the form of criminal and administrative sanctions—assets waqf, in essence, have no justification for being diverted or moved. Benefits waqf must be customized with the allocation that has been determined by the wakif at the time of endowing his wealth. Except there is something that is really needed, can be done, of course, with a decision from the authorities. If otherwise, then can sentence sanctions criminal in the form of threat punishment, maximum 5 years prison, and or fine, maximum Rp. 500,000,000. Meanwhile, administrative sanctions that can be given are in the form of written warning, temporary suspension or revocation of activity permits in the waqf sector for Islamic financial institutions, or temporary suspension from office or suspension from office of PPAIW.
