The open access volume is a collection of technical papers related to different domains of the power sector. Editors and Affiliations
S. Shaswattam is Executive Director in NTPC and is heading NETRA, the R&D centre of NTPC.
Anil Kumar Das is Chief General Manager at NTPC NETRA. He has more than 32 years of experience in the area of health & life assessment of power plants and is associated with development, adaptation and execution of various advanced NDE tools for increased availability & reliability. He is National NDT awardee with various patents, copyrights and technical publications in national & international journals & books.
Subrata Sarkar, Former General Manager of NETRA, NTPC Ltd., holds B.E. (Electrical Engg.) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and M. Tech (Machine Drives and Power Electronics) from IIT Kharagpur. He is Head of Technology Division of NETRA spearheading projects on CCUS, Green Hydrogen, Energy Storage, Waste to Energy and other areas.
Prahlad Halder, Deputy General Manager-NETRA, NTPC Ltd, is working in the diversified areas of power plant metallurgy with emphasis on failure analysis, condition assessment, material characterisation & different damage mechanisms of wide spectrum of power plant components.
