- Abstract
This paper reconstructs the comprehensive design experiment framework and evaluation mechanism for the Principles of Communication course, adopting a problem-based learning (PBL) approach. As a prime example of advanced-level experimentation with inherent challenges, the course’s capstone design experiment perfectly complements PBL pedagogy – a student-centered teaching paradigm emphasizing problem-solving proficiency and holistic skill development. Classroom implementations have notably enhanced student engagement and learning outcomes, thereby validating the efficacy of this instructional innovation.
