Abstract

Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area undertakes the national mission in higher education innovation and talent cultivation. Foreign language education needs to keep pace with the times, reform and innovate, in order to cultivate outstanding talents with international perspectives and comprehensive qualities, especially international communication talents who can undertake national strategic missions. This article deeply analyzes the problems faced by foreign language education in universities in the new era and proposes reform and innovation strategies. This will help explore the knowledge system, teaching mode reform, and teacher team building that combine foreign languages with professional education. This article explores foreign language education in universities in Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, aiming to provide reference and inspiration for foreign language education in universities.
