Abstract

As the technical language of the industry, Mechanical Drawing is a crucial component in cultivating engineering talents. This study takes the construction of the “Online and Offline Blended First-Class Course of Mechanical Drawing” of Dongguan City University as an opportunity to establish cooperation with enterprises and comprehensively promote the curriculum reform through the university-enterprise collaboration. By reform the teaching objectives, teaching contents, teaching models and evaluation system, a circular teaching system of “ university-enterprise collaboration, online and offline integration, and recyclability” has been constructed. This system has achieved a comprehensive reform of course resources, teaching models and evaluation feedback mechanisms, and provides guarantees for the synchronization of course content with the development of industry technologies, the alignment of teaching models with students’ learning characteristics, and the adaptation of students’ abilities to industry demands. Practice shows that the reform has significantly enhanced students’ engineering practice ability and innovative quality, which has been recognized by enterprises. Meanwhile, most students have also given positive evaluations of the reform. This study provides valuable insights for application-oriented universities in mechanical drawing curriculum development.
