Abstract

This study aims to enhance the precision and visitor satisfaction of nature education services in urban parks, focusing on three representative parks in Guangzhou: H National Botanical Garden (research and science popularization type), H National Wetland Park (ecological conservation type), and G Arboretum (historical and cultural type). Visitor demand data were collected through questionnaire surveys and analyzed using the Kano model to classify and evaluate satisfaction with nature education service elements. Results indicate that Attractive attributes (36.6%) and One-dimensional attributes (26.8%) constitute the primary service element categories, with visitor demands exhibiting diverse characteristics. Better-Worse coefficient analysis reveals that “ability to stimulate interest” and “experiential interaction” have the most significant positive effects on satisfaction enhancement, while “basic convenience facilities” and “professional knowledge richness” show negative impacts. Based on these findings, differentiated optimization strategies are proposed according to park types: research and science popularization parks should strengthen professional content delivery, ecological conservation parks should emphasize experiential interaction, and historical and cultural parks need to balance basic services with cultural advantages. This research contributes to improving nature education service quality and promoting ecological civilization construction and public environmental literacy enhancement.
