Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology, especially the advancement of generative artificial intelligence technology, unprecedented opportunities and challenges have been brought to the field of education. Interdisciplinary knowledge integration has become a key capability requirement for addressing complex real-world problems. This article aims to explore how to use generative AI technology to promote the application of interdisciplinary project-based learning mode in surveying and mapping engineering majors in universities. By analyzing the existing problems in current surveying and mapping education and combining specific case studies, a framework for designing interdisciplinary project-based learning teaching plans based on generative AI technology is proposed, achieving a deep integration of generative AI technology and interdisciplinary teaching. This framework can not only effectively enhance students’ learning interest and practical ability, but also promote deep integration between different disciplines, and cultivate applied talents with innovative spirit and comprehensive literacy.
