Abstract

This study focuses on the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Technology program at Jiangsu Xuzhou Pharmaceutical Vocational College, analyzing prominent issues in current vocational education, such as superficial industry-education integration and outdated teaching content lagging behind industrial technological advancements. A computer application-integrated industry-university-research-application (IUR-A) practical teaching model is proposed and constructed. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies like virtual simulation, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI), this model optimizes on-campus productive training systems and overcomes traditional training challenges. Driven by research projects and supported by computer-aided design, process simulation, and remote collaboration platforms, the model ensures tight alignment among teaching, research, and industrial demands. Practical evidence shows that the new model significantly enhances students’ innovation capabilities and practical skills, reduces training costs, and accelerates the transformation of research outcomes. This study pioneers an innovative pathway for talent cultivation in higher vocational biotechnology and pharmaceutical technology, while providing a replicable practical example for the deep integration of computer technologies in vocational education.
