- Abstract
In the age of digital technology and cross-disciplinary skills, teaching in general and foreign language teaching in particular faces the need to adapt to the many changes and evolutions taking place in our world. Therefore, the perspective behind our work seeks to integrate digital literacy and soft skills into a foreign language course (FLE/FFL) using the LinkedIn platform as a support. Initially, the article’s theoretical framework aims to clarify the notions of digital literacy and soft skills and their contribution to foreign language teaching. Then, in a second stage, the practical framework will be dedicated to identifying and analyzing LinkedIn functionalities that foster the development of language and soft skills, as well as digital literacy, to end with some ideas for adaptation to French as a foreign language course.
