- Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is gradually becoming omnipresent in education, manifesting itself through various tools such as intelligent tutoring systems, automatic assessment systems, collaborative learning environments, and educational games.
UNESCO advocates the use of AI to empower teaching and learning, in particular by assessing and developing the multiple dimensions of competencies in teachers and students. Through an extended literature review. this study presents a framework that defines the knowledge, skills and attitudes that educators must possess to use AI in their practices ethically and effectively.
