Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is truly disrupting the way we teach. ChatGPT is an AI tool that offers a range of benefits, researchers result that it will have a profound effect on education However, it also raises concerns regarding academic honesty and plagiarism, its successful implementation requires teachers to be familiar with its operation. In this respect, this article targets two things, first, to explore the potential benefits of using ChatGPT in a business English course through guiding students of how to prompt an AI effectively and second, it provides teachers with a set of instructional design strategies that can be appropriate to this new learning and teaching environment. A survey was conducted to explore student’s perception and satisfaction of this innovative experience. The study results that although ChatGPT is useful and effective, it cannot replace the teacher but complement his tasks.
