- Abstract
This paper combs through the experimental design, intervention goal, intervention environment, and intervention effect of 29 APP applications for autistic children's interventions at home and abroad in the past decade. The results found that: researchers mostly used single-subject research design to explore the application of APP in social skills intervention for preschool children with autism; the interventions were basically implemented in school or family scenarios, and less in community settings; the interventions mainly used APP as a carrier to achieve the intervention goals through the methods of augmentative or alternative communication, visual support, and video modeling; and most of the interventions achieved good results. Accordingly, suggestions are made for the research and practice of APP application in intervention for children with autism in China.
