- Abstract
This study explores how cultural elements can be integrated into tourist attractions and their impact on tourists’ experiences and cultural inheritance. Using theories of cultural inheritance, experience economy, and social identity, the research employs qualitative methods like fieldwork, interviews, and participatory observation at cultural scenic spots. Results show that the form, interactivity, and innovation of cultural displays enhance tourists’ cultural experience, strengthen their cultural identity, and boost local residents’ sense of pride. The study identifies three integration paths: cultural heritage, immersive experience, and local identity construction. These paths balance cultural preservation with innovation, increasing tourist participation and satisfaction while supporting the long-term inheritance of local culture.
