Abstract: Against the backdrop of the deep integration of the “dual carbon” goals and the comprehensive implementation of China’s rural revitalization strategy, rural landscape ecological restoration still faces an imbalance between prioritizing ecology over culture and technology over low-carbon development. This has led to a weakening of regional cultural identity and low achievement of low-carbon goals. To this end, this paper proposes regional cultural empowerment in rural landscape ecological restoration, promoting the transformation of rural landscape ecological restoration from a “single ecological orientation” to a “coordinated orientation of ecology, culture, and low carbon development.”
