Abstract

As an important intangible cultural heritage in China, Shandong folk literature embodies the cultural genes and collective memories of the ancient land of Qilu. By examining the current state of its “localized” inheritance, this paper reveals the challenges faced by Shandong folk literature in digital dissemination, such as the decline of folk cultural spaces and the transformation of local culture. The study argues that by enhancing digital narrative capabilities, establishing industry-academia-research collaboration mechanisms, and strengthening industrial integration and social capital investment, a two-way empowerment from localized inheritance to internationalized dissemination can be achieved for Shandong folk literature. This approach offers new pathways for the digital preservation of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) in folk literature and the global sharing of cultural resources.
